In this in-person course you'll learn state-of-the-art machine learning methods for training computers to play games the way humans do: by understanding and responding to the pixels on a screen.
You'll learn the theory and application of reinforcement learning, a key approach behind self-driving cars, autonomous drones and playing computer games.
With a small class size and course material designed for exploration, you'll be able to ask questions and learn the principles faster.
Familiarity with the Python programming language is recommended but not essential: depending on your experience level you'll gain either an intuition and starting point for further practise, or experience creating this software. To test your skills, try the free "Intro to Python for Data Science" module at DataCamp.
What you'll learn
What is Reinforcement Learning, and how can we use it?
Policies and decision control
Overview of deep learning
Applying deep learning to video games
